Why the interest in ductwork over the past three or four years?

Think back...central air conditioning was not common until the 1960's. It wasn't until the Arab oil embargo of 73-74 and Iranian Revolution of 79-80 that American's turned their interest toward energy conservation.
 
It wasn't until building scientists like Michael Blasnik, Jim Cummings, Sebastion Moffatt and John Tooley began asking questions in the late 80's that we began to see that the real driving force behind residential air leakage was the duct system and its deficiencies. Now we know that properly designed, installed and maintained ductwork is the key to a comfortable, affordable and healthy residential environment.
